Check out the go-bar deck gibson use's. Looks like copper pipes with spring loaded dow's maybe? Does anyone know if that's what their using?Gibson tour

I'm surprised they're not using vacuum for clamping.

Martin has done their finishing on steelstrings with the neck off since 30s, that I know of. Sure makes clean neck resets easier! Gibsons resets, ecchhhhh!

What surpises me in the Martin video is that no-one is wearing masks during the spratying and sanding of the finishes and bodies, yech,
Also what amazes me {but doesnt surprise me} is the continued assertion and assumption that Martin invented the X brace, I personally know that Marc Silber has in his possession, several examples of X braced guitars that predate the earliest Martins by 20-30 years. A couple of Russian Brothers living in London in the mid 1800's were creating guitars this way before the inception of Martin X braced guitars, perhaps even they werent the first.

I noticed they use the same CA I do - Blue/Silver label, InstaCure.
